Smokeline is Scotland's national stop smoking helpline, open every day from 8am to 10pm.  Over the years we've helped thousands of people and we can help you too.

Willpower alone is often not enough. And why make it any harder than it needs to be? Smokeline advisers can guide you through what's helped other smokers, and help you work out what's most likely to work for you.

 

 

Trying again?

Many Smokeline advisers are ex-smokers themselves, they know it's not easy. That's why when you call they'll chat to you about what worked and what didn't last time. It's often a great way to help you work out what you need this time.

 

 

Trying but feeling tempted?

Keeping up your resolve is hard. Lots of people call us for a bit of support when they're feeling tempted and that's OK. Or, if nothing's working and you're close to going back to smoking, call us and see what additional help is available to keep you feeling strong and motivated. It doesn't matter whether you want to speak to us for 2 minutes or 10 minutes.
